On Friday, GoFundMe took down the Freedom Convoy’s donation page and plan on seizing the $10 million raised so far.
UPDATE: 2/05/2022 5:40 PM
Due to the incredible backlash that GoFundMe received after announcing they were illegally seizing the truckers’ funds to disperse to charities of their choice, they will now refund the donations instead of stealing the $10 million from their users.
Do not fret for our friends to the north. GiveSendGo is the number one Christian donating site in the world and they don’t remove campaigns that they don’t politically agree with.
They have a “FreedomConvoy2022” campaign that has already raised over a million dollars in less than 24 hours.
GiveSendGo CEO Jacob Wells sent The Gateway Pundit a statement on the Adopt a Trucker campaign and the current challenges the platform is facing.
GiveSendGo stands for hope and freedom. We recognize the freedoms we have are God-given, not authorized by governments, but rather ought to be protected by our governments. We do not condone violence of any form! We have been in contact with the campaign organizers and have received full assurance that any funds raised will not be used to fund any violent actions. As in any polarized situation we recognize there will be a few individuals and groups that might intentionally try to incite violence. We realize this will be used to stain this movement by opposing groups. We will not broadstroke those individual situations as a depiction of what this movement represents as if they were affiliated.
GiveSendGo will always stand for freedom for those on either side of our current ideological divide. Our hope is first in God and also in the notion that we can be united as free people across the globe, standing in the freedom that was bought for us first at the cross, but also maintained by the blood of courageous men and women who have sacrificed their lives so that we might live in that freedom.
Galations 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
f you just want a brief few statements here are a few. GiveSendGo has been under heavy attack from opposition that stands in the way of our mission to see freedom on our platform. We have seen tens of millions of bots and DDOS attacks attempting to take out our servers. We are also seeing overwhelming support for this campaign and it’s mission to bring freedom across North America and the world. We will continue to stand strong in the midst of this adversity and offer our platform as a beacon of hope for people of all backgrounds, religions, races, and differing ideological motivations. Shine Brightly!
We are also seeing funds in 5 times faster than gfm did. Took them 3 weeks to raise 10 mill. We have raised 1 million in about 12 hours even in spite of the attacks trying to take us out!

GoFundMe says that they “now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity.”
“Following a review of relevant facts and multiple discussions with local law enforcement and city officials, this fundraiser is now in violation of our Terms of Service (Term 8, which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment) and has been removed from the platform,” GoFundMe said in a statement.
If you donated to help the truckers, be sure you request your refund before February 19, 2022! Go to the form and don’t let GoFundMe decide what they do with the remaining $9 million.
Though the website said it supports peaceful protests, the site stated the group had violated Term 8, which “prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment.”
But they supported the BLM and Antifa riots that saw billions of dollars worth of property damage and the deaths of 30+ people. Yet truckers protesting medical tyranny is violence?
In fact chapters of BLM, a group founded by Marxists are still up on GoFundMe.
If you do not request a refund by February 19 GoFundMe will disperse the money to other charities.
“Organizers provided a clear distribution plan for the initial $1M that was released earlier this week and confirmed funds would be used only for participants who traveled to Ottawa to participate in a peaceful protest. Given how this situation has evolved, no further funds will be directly distributed to the Freedom Convoy organizers — we will work with organizers to send all remaining funds to credible and established charities chosen by the Freedom Convoy 2022 organizers and verified by GoFundMe.”
The Freedom Convoy 2022 has retained legal counsel in Canada to demand that the ban be lifted.
The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, a Calgary-based nonprofit law firm that has also represented other clients resisting government covid restrictions and vaccine mandates, announced Thursday that it is representing the Freedom Convoy 2022 in Ottawa and has a team of lawyers on the ground providing legal assistance and advice.
“The Justice Centre legal team is working on behalf of Convoy organizers to ensure all funds raised by GoFundMe are released to the truckers for their intended purpose,” the law firm said in a statement.
“The funds from GoFundMe will be used to cover the costs of the convoy, specifically food, fuel, lodging, and other necessary related expenses,” the law firm continued. “The Justice Centre is not receiving any funding from the trucker’s GoFundMe, and operates entirely on private donations from Canadians across the country.”
“This is a national issue, not an Ottawa issue,” Ottawa police Chief Peter Sloly said in a briefing to city councilors. “I am increasingly concerned there is no policing solution to this.”
“There is no lawful authority to seal a city. There’s no practical capability to seal a city of this size,” Sloly said.
On Wednesday he was asked to clarify just what he meant when he said policing won’t put an end to the ongoing demonstrations.
“Can you be clear about what you mean?” asked the reporter. “That is alarming to people, and I’d like to hear what we’re talking about when we say that.”
Sloly answered that authorities are looking “at every potential option available to us within the legal bounds from negotiation through to court injunction through to an enforced removal.”
“Increasingly, as we see demonstrations, not just here, but elsewhere in the country, where there are efforts by strictly a policing action, we are not as confident as we have been that police alone will resolve this situation substantially, never mind in totality.”
“It is a local destination, a provincial demonstration, a national demonstration, and one that has international elements associated to it,” Sloly continued.
“When you say ‘other than police,’ do you mean politics? Do you need military? I don’t understand the answer. I understand it’s not only police, but then what are those other options that are not police options that we might need?” the reporter asked.
“I think you just listed most of them right there,” Sloly replied.
We will continue to stand with the truckers and their right to medical freedom. Do not comply. Stand up to the tyranny that is taking over this world.
Be sure you check out the Marine Rapper’s new song “Freedom Convoy” that he put out in support of Canadian truckers taking a stand against their tyrannical government.
