The Yearly Salary of This ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ (DEI) Advisor Position That the US Marine Corps is Hiring for Will Surpass That of an 0-5 Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps

As if the Marine Corps, and military as a whole, wasn’t getting woke enough, they now have listed a position called the ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ Advisor which will make a salary starting at $144,000 per year. This will surpass the yearly salary of an 0-5 Lieutenant Colonel, fully, and surpass the starting salaries of the next three ranks above that.

As the chart above shows, this position will make much more than 90% of the ranks of the USMC. Not only will this make the Marine Corps more woke and broken, but the position will take up a lot of taxpayer money.

The posting for the position also says that it will “enable shifting the USMC cultural paradigm for diversity, equity, and inclusion.” So, the sole function of this position is to change the USMC. What exactly are they trying to change? Are they trying to make sure it goes full Marxist? — Because the Marine Corps is already very diverse and inclusive, so that can’t be the issue.

The full list of duties include:

  • You will support the development of and administer training and education guidance to the Chief Diversity Officer and supporting senior leadership within the USMC.
  • You will drive strategic management concepts and principles, including assisting with the development of Marine Corps policy, supporting the USMC’s mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives.
  • You will collaborate with the DRB Secretariat, the incumbent reports to the CDO who has oversight and responsibility for development and implementation of USMC-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion management programs.
  • You will support the assessment of diversity and inclusion program effectiveness; design and lead implementation of process improvement initiatives; and provide executive level consultation.

Since the Marine Corps is a Department of the Navy, it’s likely this is part of the announcement that the Navy made in May of this year where they would appoint a strategic planning team to “develop an action plan to promote ‘DEI’ in department-wide policies, programs and operations.”

Remember, kids: everything woke turns to shit.

While China is making mock U.S. warships, building super advanced aircraft carriers and launching globe-circling missile technology, the US military continues down the woke path. It’s not looking good, folks.
