We’re continuing through the 90’s with our investigation. We start off today with one of the more well known Clinton suicides, Vince Foster.
On July 20, 1993, Vince Foster walked out of his Washington, D.C office never to be seen alive again. He was found in Fort Marcy Park of a gunshot to the mouth that went through the back of his head. Foster had ties to the Clintons dating back to their time in Arkansas. He worked at the Rose Law Firm with Hillary and despite what the White House said back then, the rumors swirled around Foster having an affair with Hillary.
He was responsible for the files of everything that happened with the Clinton’s in Arkansas and wrote a memo that said “Whitewater is a can of worms that you should NOT open!” Days before he was suicided, Foster confided in friends and family that he was considering resigning from his position. He considered it to the point he had written an outline of his resignation. He had a private meeting scheduled with then-president Bill Clinton for July 21.
The coroner’s report only mentions one wound. The wound from the mouth to the back of the neck; however, we’ve since learned of another wound. One that was in the crime scene photos but not on the report. The wound in Foster’s neck.
There were two documents; a two-page letter of resignation and a 31-page memo that was written by Judge Kenneth W. Starr’s lead prosecutor, Miguel Rodriguez. He references photos showing a neck wound that does not exist according to the official government report.
The big question is, why would the official report only mention one wound and not the second? Perhaps that would make the suicide a bit impossible? We know how trustworthy government officials are though, right?
Something that we’ve discovered in our readings are reports that before Foster’s body was taken to the morgue, nobody had reported seeing a gunshot wound out of the back of his head, which is what was reported. EMS Sergeant Gonzalas stated he did not see a wound at the back of his head, John Rolla did not report that kind of wound, and EMS technician Cory Ashford testified on tape with reporter Chris Ruddy that he was certain there was no exit wound at the back of Vince Foster’s head while he was at Fort Marcy Park.
The wound that is described by Dr. Beyer was the result of a soft-nosed unjacketed lead bullet being fired through two dense bones. There should have been bullet fragments all through Foster’s skull, there were not.
A report out of the FBI was recently uncovered that reported the autopsy found an entry point but no exit wound.
To add more mystery to all of this is the fact that all officials have claimed there are no X-rays and no photographs.
Yet the report that is signed by Beyer, the photograph, and x-ray boxes are marked yes. Dr. Beyer claimed that the x-ray machine was broken though no service records are available to that up.
Before Foster’s body was even cold his office at the White House was being looted. Secret Service agent Henry O’Neill watched Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff, Margaret Williams ransack his office. She carried out boxes filled with papers and files before anyone even identified Foster, which didn’t happen until 10:00 PM by Craig Livingstone. He was another person who helped removed things from Foster’s office.
According to witnesses, Bernard Nussbaum, Patsy Thomason also ransacked the office. Thomason, director of the White House Office of Administration, tried desperately to get into Foster’s safe. She was able to get in with the help of MIG technical team, who was signed in to the White House in the wee hours. They retrieved two letters that were meant for Janet Reno and William Kennedy III. How is it known that those letters were there? Foster’s secretary Deborah Gorham saw them there. Those letters were never seen again.
This is a crime scene photo that was released by ABC news. We’re not crime scene experts but there are a few things that make us go hmm. Digging into the FBI lab reports we see that there wasn’t a lot of blood. Now, I have seen head wounds. Nonfatal and fatal head wounds. They bleed. A lot. A ridiculous amount really. Had Vince Foster shot himself in the head in the park, wouldn’t there be a lot of blood?
The next thing that made us question things was the fact that Vince Foster’s fingerprints were not on the gun. For those who don’t know about fingerprints, anytime you touch something, you leave behind a fingerprint. How does someone manage to shoot themselves and not leave behind any fingerprints?
There are other inconsistencies that occurred during the investigation. One that really has fueled the theories that Vince Foster did not kill himself is his keys. The police did not find keys on the body while at the park; however, they showed up at the morgue. Did they grow legs and walk there?
It’s rumored that after Craig Livingstone and William Kennedy III arrived at the morgue to identify Foster’s body the keys appeared.
