A voicemail left by Joe Biden to his disgraced son, Hunter, in 2018 is making the rounds. The voicemail is Joe telling him that “I think you’re clear” in the story, which was published by the New York Times contradicting the many times that the elder Biden denied knowing about his sons dealings.
For years former vice president Joe Biden has yelled incoherently that he knew nothing about Hunter Biden’s dealings with Ye Jianming, a Chinese oil tycoon. A 2018 voicemail that recently leaked proves that to be a lie.
The “big guy” was not happy being caught up in his lies yet again.
The newest evidence is straight from the mouth of the former vice president.
Do you remember the laptop fiasco where they tried to deny its existence? But it was proven to be true?
The voicemail in question was recovered from that laptop left at the repair store in Delaware. He has not denied that he left the laptop there.
Materials published from the computer include images of the younger Biden in compromising positions with women and drugs, phone calls, and text messages.
The Daily Mail broke the story on the voicemail at the end of June.
The voicemail is 23 seconds long and, is from Dec. 12, 2018.
It appears to show Joe Biden leaving his son a message.
“Hey pal, it’s Dad,” the elder Biden says. “It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance, just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you.”
“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good,” he said. “I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance, give me a call, I love you.”
The story in question reported that Ye and Hunter Biden met privately at a hotel in Miami, Florida in mid-2017. During the meeting, Ye reportedly proposed a business partnership that would focus on investing in American infrastructure.
The story said it remains unclear whether Hunter Biden came to a deal with Ye. But a letter later made public showed that CEFC, the Chinese entity Ye once headed, paid Hunter Biden $1 million to find an attorney for Patrick Ho, a top aide of Ye who was arrested by U.S. authorities in 2017 and sentenced for bribery and money laundering.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy was the first to question the White House about it on Tuesday.
“Why is there a voicemail of the president talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the president has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings?” Doocy asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
“Well, first, I’ll say that what the president said stands. So if that’s what the president said, that is what stands,” Jean-Pierre said.
“He’s leaving a voicemail about a New York Times article concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings. And it says, ‘I think you’re clear.’ How is that not him talking to his son about his overseas business dealings?” Doocy objected.
That is when Jean-Pierre completely shut down Doocy.
“We’re not — from this podium, I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop,” the press secretary said. “I will — I am not —”
“So are you disputing that it’s the president’s voice on the voicemail?” Doocy interjected.
“I am not going to talk about alleged materials on a laptop. It’s not happening,” Jean-Pierre said.
The US attorney’s office in Delaware is investigating Hunter’s finances. He recently cut a $2 million check to the IRS for unpaid taxes, according to reports.
Emails from the laptop indicate that Joe repeatedly met with his son’s business partners, including while still vice president when he attended a 2015 DC dinner with a group of his son’s associates from Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
