A Canadian Freedom Convoy traveled across Canada heading for Ottawa where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was quarantining. The wanna be dictator tucked tail and fled to an “undisclosed location” to avoid the conflict of angry Canadians.
A Canadian Freedom Convoy of approximately 2,700 truckers entered the Canadian capital city of Ottawa on Saturday protesting the COVID mandates put in place by Justin Trudeau. According to the Independent, around 100 big rigs blockaded the main street running past the Canadian parliament building.
On Saturday, the Trudeaus moved from their official Ottawa residence to the classic “undisclosed location.” It’s rumored that the location is in a specific Eastern town. but we haven’t been able to 100% confirm this.
So the Prime Minister of Canada fled the terrifyingly peaceful truckers who simply want medical freedom to the United States where we don’t like him either? Face your citizens Trudeau. Don’t be a coward.
Do you remember March 31, 2020? Just two short years ago he took to Twitter urging Canadians to show support for the same truckers he’s running away from.
His tone is much different now that those same truckers are standing up his tyrannical ways.
Before the cowardly pm went into hiding he was very dismissive and judgmental of the Freedom Convoy heading his way.
“The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to ensure our rights, our freedoms, our values as a country.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we have 150,000 trucks and truckers and a total of 700,000 people by the time we hit Ottawa,” Northern BC organizer Art Meise of Prince George told Kelowna Now.
The Trudeau family aren’t strangers to pissing off drivers. In 1970 Justin Trudeau’s father, former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau had to deal with mail truck drivers striking in Montreal. His father told the drivers “Mangez de la merde!” (“Eat s–t!”)
Why is there a Freedom Convoy to begin with?
It started as a protest against the mandate that went into effect in Canada on January 15, 2022, that requires all travelers to be fully vaccinated before crossing the Canadian border. This convoy isn’t about the COVID vaccine though. Approximately 90% of Canadian truckers are fully vaccinated. It’s about freedom. We’ve seen the data that the vaccinated are spreading and getting sick with COVID just as much as unvaccinated people. The governments are requiring more and more boosters.
This is a movement against the heavy-handed governments that are attempting to be tyrannical dictators.
The MSM has spent days warning of violence to come and searched supporters’ messages for evidence of racism. “
‘So many angry people’: Experts say the online conversation around the truckers is veering into dangerous territory” read a CTV News headline. CBC, Canada’s PBS and NPR, called Saturday’s protest “a raucous demonstration that has police on high alert for possible violence even as organizers urge the crowd to be peaceful.” Police said that night that “no incidents of violence or injuries” were reported and no protesters faced charges.
But Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe told truckers he supports their “call to end the cross border ban on unvaccinated truckers” and announced his government will soon “be ending our proof of negative test/proof of vaccination policy in Saskatchewan.”
“If one province would do it, I think the rest will follow suit,” the supporter who told me the Moe news mused.
