Our very young country has seen the government grow exponentially in 246 years. It’s grown more than it should have and has infected nearly every aspect of our lives.

Tyranny Grows

Our nation has degraded from a strong people who wanted nothing more than to have freedom and be left alone after fighting for their independence from a tyrannical government.

Well, we’ve gone right back to tyranny that seems to think they are the ones who make the decisions rather than representing us, the people.

Since the installed administration has been sitting in Washington we’ve seen more and more laws and regulations coming out that inhibit our everyday lives. They’ve even attempted to break us down by mandating a vaccination for a virus that we have a 99% chance of surviving.

What our government needs to realize is that this is our country. America does not belong to the government. America belongs to we the people.

Enough is enough already.

Government

Ronald Regan said it best. “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we’ve been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. But if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else?”

This quote is something that applies to today more than any other time in history. Our rights and freedoms are slowly being taken away as they grant themselves more and more duties.

Our founding fathers’ always say it best

Our founding fathers did not intend for the government to grow as large as it has or to tangle its evil fingers into every aspect of our lives.

“I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education.”Thomas Jefferson, Letter to W. C. Jarvis, September 28, 1820

“A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1801

Over the years we’ve seen the tyrants replace true Americans and beat down the spirit that ignited a fire in its citizens in 1776. That fire that fought against tyrants attempting to control everything in their lives.

Would we have even noticed that this small group of elitists attempting to strip away all of our freedoms and rights if the pandemic hadn’t started? We saw a huge uptick in mandates from people who think they have any sort of right to dictate what we will put into our bodies or that they can restrict where we go.

We don’t need the government’s permission to live our lives. They are not the kings and queens of this country. They are not our lords and ladies. They are not Gods.

“Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Edward Carrington, January 16, 1787

“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.”Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Abigail Adams, February 22, 1787

We were founded on a very simple principle. Freedom. Our nation was acquired from the largest empire in the world, at the time, for those who are willing to accept personal responsibility for their lives and willing to live in a self-governed society with minimal intervention from those who govern us. Those who govern us were put in place to simply represent our interests when voting on laws and regulations, not to take over and tell us what our best interests are.

The Founders were well aware of the allure of despotism. It is safe to be protected by someone else and to not have to make decisions about one’s own life. But that is not why colonists fought the British to become Americans.

The small government that was formed to knew that there would be those put into positions of power within the government who would always look for ways to acquire more power. Look at what’s been happening for the past two years. The past 50 years. Those in power have been creating more and more federal entities to regulate everything.

“Liberty must at all hazards be supported. We have a right to it, derived from our Maker. But if we had not, our fathers have earned and bought it for us, at the expense of their ease, their estates, their pleasure, and their blood.”John Adams, A Dissertation on the Canon and Feudal Law, 1765.

Do not comply with a tyrannical government. Prune the tree of liberty from time to time.

Olympus Has Fallen

Topher’s song Olympus Has Fallen hits hard.

Hoist the colors high.

Never shall we die.

The Government Gaining More Power From Every Person Infected.

That’s what they want. More power. More money. More authority. And they want to silence the Patriots of this country. They restrict us and ban us on social media. They villanize us in the media. They scream and cry that everyone who is pro-America is a racist. A bigot. A xenophobe. And every other ist and ism that they can think of. They brainwash children into hating their parents simply for decrying the leftist policies.

Do. Not. Comply.
