Breaking this afternoon. FBI raids Project Veritas connections over Ashley Biden’s diary.
The FBI raided two New York addresses of people who are connected to Project Veritas as they investigate the apparent theft of Ashley Biden’s diary.
The FBI executed their search warrants at the home of Spencer Meads in Midtown Manhattan and another home in Westchester County the New York Times reported.
“The F.B.I. carried out search warrants in New York as part of a Justice Department investigation into how pages from Ashley Biden’s journal came to be published by a right-wing website,” New York Times reported.
Important information, Project Veritas did not publish anything from Ashely Biden’s diary, but another website to post dozens of pages on October 24, 2020, right before the presidential election.
Staff at Project Veritas claimed they knew about the diary and its whereabouts as well as the whistleblower who obtained the much sought-after piece with audio of Ashley admitting that it was indeed hers.
The younger Biden contacted the FBI in October 2020 to report a burglary at her home. She claimed several items were missing including this diary.
“The FBI took materials of current, and former, Veritas journalists despite the fact that our legal team previously contacted the Department of Justice and voluntarily conveyed unassailable facts that demonstrate Project Veritas’ lack of involvement in criminal activity and/or criminal intent,” O’Keefe said.
“Like any reporter, we regularly deal with the receipt of source information and take steps to verify its authenticity, legality, and newsworthiness. Our efforts were the stuff of responsible, ethical, journalism and we are in no doubt that Project Veritas acted properly at each and every step,” he added.
It doesn’t seem that Project Veritas can catch a break. Just two months ago their Mamaroneck offices were destroyed by Hurricane Ida flooding. They constantly have to threaten legal action against the MSM who post lies about the investigative journalists. Will Sommers from the Daily Beast is the most recent offender.
Considering Project Veritas never published any excerpts from the diary, could the corrupt FBI have ulterior motives for raiding the homes of these two people?
