As Chicago is Destroyed, Mayor Lightfoot Continues with Her Bad Leadership
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has lashed out against President Donald Trump and other leaders about calling in the National Guard following the major riots on Sunday in Chicago’s business district. The riots began after police shot a man on the South Side around 1430.
Access to downtime Chicago was restricted early Monday morning by raising the bridges. The night of riots saw 100 people arrested and at least 13 police officers injured.
Mayor Lightfoot responded, “Ald. Hopkins has a penchant for letting his mouth run before he actually gets the facts,†Lightfoot said. “I don’t think there’s any reason for me to say anything further.â€
She also retorted, “Again, no, we do not need federal troops in Chicago, period, full stop,†Lightfoot said. “I’m sure the president will have his way with this incident but I’m calling upon him to do the things that we do need such as making changes to the nation’s gun laws.”
“We can’t just allow anyone to come into Chicago, play police in our streets and neighborhoods when they don’t know the first thing about our city. That’s a recipe for disaster,†she added. “That’s what you’re seeing playing out in Portland on a nightly basis, we don’t need that here. That’s not a value add, it doesn’t help enhance our public safety.â€
She can’t allow just anyone to go into Chicago to play police. After watching the above video, do you really think that the failed mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot can afford to not ask for help? While President Trump is hard on the Democrats, this is why. They are allowing their cities to become overwhelmed by these rioters, the terrorist groups BLM and Anitfa are pushing their way around in these liberal controlled locations. They are no longer chanting and tossing rocks. They have bombs, guns, and molotov cocktails. These riots are long past being about George Floyd, not that they ever were.
They are ransacking businesses and looting. They are harassing and harming people who have nothing to do with the government or with the riots. They are going into the suburbs for no reason other than to torment and harass.
The failed Mayor Lightfoot of Chicago should be begging for help at this point before Chicago turns into an even bigger problem than Portland.
When a major city, such as Chicago, has to raise bridges to stop the flow of traffic into the city, there’s a problem.
It’s time for these leaders to stop pandering and coddling the terrorist organizations and send them back to momma’s basement.
