Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, is being mocked and ridiculed mercilessly online after she claimed that the Dobbs decision to overturn Roe V Wade was unconstitutional.
“From day one, when the Supreme Court made this extreme decision to take away a constitutional right, it was an unconstitutional action by them, a right that was around for almost 50 years, a right that women had to make a decision on their bodies and how they want to start their families,” she said on Wednesday.
Her comments came after Joe Biden signed an executive order to ‘safeguard’ abortion access which will support patients traveling out of state for abortions.
Biden proposed using Medicaid to fund interstate travel expenses for women seeking abortions. This is the former vice president’s second executive order on the issue of murdering children. The left is obsessed with being permitted to legally murder children.
Abortion advocates have urged the former vice president to declare a public health emergency, which would ensure that abortion pills can still be prescribed in states where abortion is illegal.
Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday responded to a reporter who asked what the point of the Dobbs ruling was if the DOJ plans to “go around” the recent decision that allowed states to impose laws severely restricting abortion access.
“This is not in any way going around the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court said that each state can make its own decisions with respect to abortion, but so, too, can the federal government,” Garland said.
Manic Democrats and liberals have been screeching since the Dobbs ruling crying the Supreme Court wrongly decided against abortion. Whether they like it or not, the doctrine of judicial review allows courts to decide what is and is not constitutional.
An opinion that is later overturned isn’t “an unconstitutional act,” but rather a decision that another court has determined to have been wrongly decided.
Something else that the rabid left has failed to understand is that the overturning of Roe V Wade did not eliminate abortions. It returned the rights back to the states, where they belong. The federal government was never intended to be as large and overreaching as it is. That is why we have 50 individual states, with 50 individual constitutions to make up the United States of America. Each state has its own sets of laws to govern its people. If you don’t like the laws in a particular state, you can move to one that aligns with your ideology.
For far too long we’ve sat back and allowed the federal government to run wild. Now we’re stuck with career politicians and their lackeys who act more like a bunch of tyrants rather than public servants.
They have long forgotten that they serve We The People and are supposed to look out for our best interest.
They’ve spread their hatred and power hunger ways throughout the country, even into the school systems where they’re churning out a bunch of socialists, Marxists, and fascists.
Remember everything they say and do when it comes time to vote in November and vote them out.
