House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from California, has finally admitted that there is an ‘attitude of lawlessness’ that is running rampant across the country as she rambled about a recent surge in smash-and-grab crimes. Crimes that are hitting her district of San Francisco hard.
It’s great that the house speaker is admitting to the crime problem, but she refuses to admit that it’s a liberal problem mainly due to the whole defund the police movement that was pushed by left-wing lawmakers.
“It’s absolutely outrageous,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said when asked about the crime spike. “Obviously, it cannot continue. But the fact [is] that there is an attitude of lawlessness in our country that springs from I don’t know where … and we cannot have that lawlessness become the norm.”
“It must be stopped, and it’s not just San Francisco,” Pelosi emphasized. “It’s in our entire country.”
In 2020 she helped push for a $2.2 trillion spending package that removed funding from police. The people who are there to deter and stop the very crimes she’s crying about.
The robberies, which aren’t one or two people but enormous crowds, are ransacking stores and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in goods. Last month a group of 80 people raided a San Francisco Nordstrom and stole close to $200,000 in product.
On Tuesday, a visibly frustrated San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced plans to crack down on retail thefts, home break-ins and other criminal behavior that has flourished during the tenure of progressive District Attorney Chesa Boudin.
Do you know what these two particular cities have in common? They are liberal controlled with strict gun control laws.

That really sticks out to me. She has no idea where this attitude of “I can do whatever I want without punishment” comes from?
Recently California, Nancy’s home state, adopted Proposition 47.
What is Proposition 47?
California’s Proposition 47 downgraded a variety of “non-serious, nonviolent crimes” that had previously been considered felonies to misdemeanors. These include shoplifting, grand theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, fraud, and writing bad checks. As long as the total value of the stolen property is under $950, only a ghost of an offense has occurred. A thief may now steal something under that limit on a daily basis and it will never rise to felony status.
Not only have the Democrats been pushing for defunding police departments but they also, essentially, gave permission to rob stores with little to no consequences.
Yet she has no idea where this attitude of lawlessness comes from?
During the BLM/Antifa summer “of love” Kamala Harris and other left-wing lawmakers pushed to have them released from jail with all charges dropped.

This attitude of lawlessness is their fault. They are the direct cause of these looters and rioters feeling as though they can do whatever they want without repercussion. We’ve stopped punishing those who do bad things and punish those who are frustrated with the way the country is burning down around us.
Maxine Waters is notorious for encouraging violence against anyone who opposes what she says.
The problem is these career politicians. Remember when elections come around in 2022, vote them out. Vote in true Americans who love this country and not their own personal ideologies. Vote in people who want to see us succeed. Not those who want another vacation home.
San Francisco isn’t the only city that is being targeted.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot is actually blaming retailers. That’s right, it’s the stores’ fault for not making safety a priority according to that nut.

Because she has no idea how to manage a city and ensure the safety of all, she’s placing the blame on everyone else.
Last summer, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posited that the looting crime wave was caused by people who “need to feed their child and they don’t have money” – which Pelosi directly disputed Wednesday.
