Waukesha, Wisconsin had their annual Christmas parade when witnesses state that a red SUV sped through injuring at least 20 people. There are also reports of gunshots, but that is not yet verified.

Darrell Brooks, 39, was charged with five counts of murder after he plowed through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, killing at least five and injuring 40 others including a troupe of 9-11-year-old dancers and The Dancing Grannies.

Brooks has a very lengthy criminal record.

Just three days before he drove through the parade he was released on a $1,000 bail on charges including reckless endangerment, battery, domestic abuse, resisting arrest, and bail jumping.  by a Soros backed judge.

A background check from Wisconsin’s Department of Justice came back with over 50 pages of charges against Brooks stretching back decades. In 1999 he received his first felony conviction for taking part in an aggravated battery – for which he received three years of probation, records show.

The Waukesha, WI attacker has been identified as Darrell Brooks. He has a YouTube channel that featured his deadly weapon, the red SUV, in one of his music videos.

It is reported that there are multiple people dead as well as the 20 injured after the SUV drove through the Christmas parade.

“Some injured are children and are some fatalities as a result of this incident,” Police Chief Dan Thompson said.

The reports of gunshots being fired were by police at the SUV.

The SUV was spotted in a nearby driveway shortly after the incident. A person of interest has been identified.

“Tonight was a traumatic situation for the City of Waukesha,” Mayor Shawn Reilly said at a news conference.

Police Chief Dan Thompson said that at around 4:39 p.m. a red SUV drove into the Christmas Parade “and more than 20 people were injured as a result of this incident.”

Around 6 pm the Waukesha Alerts Twitter account reported a “mass casualty incident”.

Shortly after 6 p.m., the official Facebook for the Waukesha Police Department advised, “Please avoid the downtown area for the time being.” The police department announced a “family reunification location.”

“A car ran through the middle of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Sunday evening, leaving multiple people injuries,” according to a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

A live stream of the parade on the city’s social media page showed a red SUV speeding through the parade.

The police chief announced that the suspected vehicle was recovered and they have a person of interest that they’re looking into.

“As we were walking back in between the buildings that we saw an SUV crossover, just put the pedal to the metal and just zooming full speed along the parade route. And then we heard a loud bang, and just deafening cries and screams from people who are who are struck by the vehicle,” Angelito Tenorio, a West Allis alderman who is running for Wisconsin state treasurer said. “And then, and then we saw people running away or stopping crying, and there, there are people on the ground who looked like they’d been hit by the vehicle. It just all happened so fast”

This tragic accident occurred just an hour northwest of Kenosha where Kyle Rittenhouse was found innocent of 5 counts just two days ago.
