Gail Grobey, a Portland teacher, has come out against her school districts vote to ban BLM and LGBTQ paraphernalia from the schools. She went to her local media to let the world know that she removed the American flag  from her classroom because it represents “violence and menace and intolerance”.

Gail Grobey is an English teacher at Newberg High School and former president of the Newberg Education Association said her union is mobilizing against a newly approved resolution by Newberg Public Schools that bans overtly “political” imagery.

The school board’s policy committee states that: ‘No district employee shall, while acting within the scope of their employment, either during school hours or inside their physical area of responsibility at a school (such as a classroom, meeting room, desk area) hang, post, erect or otherwise display … any posters, signs, flags, banners, pictures or other digital or physical images that depicts support or opposition relating to a political, quasi-political or controversial topic.

‘We’re trying to start a school year positively, and the distractions these four people on the school board are putting out there are not making that very easy,’ Grobey, said ahead of the first day of school on September 8.

‘It’s challenging to think about putting together the beginning of school but still feeling really compelled to take action as a body to show the kids and families how much we support them and who they are.’

Gail Grobey claims that a majority of her fellow teachers in the district are opposed to the ban on BLM and LGBTQ paraphernalia despite the fact most teachers didn’t have banners, flags, or other symbols in their classrooms.

‘We are certainly going to become very active in terms of supporting the community coalition that has formed against these actions by the board,’ Grobey said.

‘There are groups out there in the community who have a stake in this as parents and community members of varying backgrounds.’

“I’ll say this personally: I’ve spent 23 years in this district and you can’t tell me what to do,” she said. “I know my kids, and I know what’s best for them and what to do to help them feel comfortable. I took the American flag down in my classroom because that’s the most political symbol there is. When I see [board member] Trevor DeHart sitting there at those board meetings with that giant American flag behind him, it’s terrifying.

“That symbol doesn’t stand for freedom or justice or equality anymore,” she added. “It stands for violence and menace and intolerance, and I will not fly that in my room.”

These are the people who are teaching our children. These are the people who are indoctrinating our children. They are aligning a symbol of freedom and justice with symbols of hatred and terror. The BLM riots caused billions of dollars in damage as well as resulted in the deaths of 30+ people. We have seen time and time again where LGBTQ groups have admitted to wanting to corrupt our children or are sexual predators.

Yet the American flag is nothing more than a political piece that represents violence, menace, and intolerance to these rabid liberals.

If you haven’t pulled your children from the public school system yet, do it. Do not allow these radical leftists to indoctrinate our children. The public school system is broken. Beyond broken at this point. Marxists, communists, and rabid liberals have infected every aspect of the schools. We’re seeing the great teachers quickly outnumbered by the awful.

Our flag is more than a piece of cloth. It’s a symbol of the resilience of the American spirit. It represents all of those who came before us, fighting to ensure we would remain a free nation. The American flag is more than just a piece of cloth you think about on the 4th of July.

The flag is you. The flag is me. The flag is all of us. It’s the one thing that remains steadfast in the fact that as long as we have Old Glory flying, we are a free nation. The American flag is not a political symbol. It is not an ideological symbol. It’s our freedom. If you can’t comprehend that and twist your illogical fallacies into it, then that’s you’re problem. But these teachers have no right and no business pushing their agendas on children.

They have one job. Educate our children in reading, writing, arithmetic, and science. It is not the responsibility of these teachers to put their political beliefs and ideologies into the minds of children. Our children should be forming their own opinions and making up their own minds based on their own research. Not based on what their teachers feed them in English class.

White liberals are the worst.
