Mask mandates have been a hot topic lately. Especially since Fauci and Biden have been urging people to wear them indoors again, regardless of vacination status.
It extends beyond just the average American though. Nancy Pelosi reinstated the mask mandate for congress, going so far as to order noncomplying Congress members arrested and fined. On Thursday, dozens of House Republicans and their staffers left the house floor maskless to the Senate floor to protest Pelosi and her mandate.
Fauci took to CNN on Saturday discussing the mask mandates and that it is under active consideration and that he is part of the discussion.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy pressed Biden about his administration’s reversal, pointing to the president’s statement in May that, “If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.”Â
“In May you made it seem like the vaccine was the ticket to losing the mask forever,” Doocy pointed out.
“That was true at the time,” Biden shouted. “Because I thought there were people that were going to understand that getting vaccinated made a dramatic difference and what happened was the new variant came along, they didn’t get vaccinated, it spread more rapidly, and more people were getting sick.”
Meanwhile, at the border, border patrol agents are letting in 1000-1200 families PER day. Many of them are infected with Covid-19.
“You talked about this administration having a priority of protecting the American people,” Doocy said to Jean-Pierre Thursday at the White House. “Can you help us understand why is it that the federal government is asking vaccinated Americans to wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19 but at the same time, federal agents are also releasing COVID-19 border crossers into small towns in Texas.”
We’re already seeing Democrat-controlled cities and states turn the “suggestion” of masking up into mandates. Washington, D.C. reinstated the mask mandate as well after 4 deaths. Just 4. Nevada is reinstating their mandate starting on July 30. Ohio reinstated its mandate on July 23.
While states like Texas and Florida are banning mask mandates for the citizens of their states.
On July 21, Biden held a town hall with CNN in Ohio where he called on unvaccinated Americans to get the jab. The jab that doesn’t seem to work since more and more of these “rare” breakthrough covid cases are coming through to the point that everyone is being urged to mask.
One thing to notice about this town hall, everyone is crammed at the front and not many people are wearing masks.
Hypocritical much?
Why are there mask mandates coming back? Why is the “president” of the United States calling tens of millions of Americans stupid?
Because of one of the many new variants that are causing a problem. The Delta variant. Which is good for mask manufacturers.
According to the New York Post, Mask “sales were up 24 percent this week ending Tuesday, compared to the prior week, after two months of declining revenue, according to the Adobe Digital Economy Index.”
The increase came even though the chances of becoming severely ill with the Delta variant are extremely low to inoculated individuals, according to scientists.
