Review time!
I recently finished reading Liberalism: Find a Cure by Mark Dice. Wow. I’m not much of a nonfiction reader. I’ve never really been able to get into it and stay interested.
Not with this. No, I loved it from start to finish.
Mark dives into the infection that is taking control of the world, liberalism.
I originally bought the book for the husband, but I was dying for something new to read. It was midnight and book stores were closed, so Mark Dice to the rescue. I wasn’t expecting much. I do love his YouTube channel. But it’s so different watching rather than reading. Mark does not disappoint.
He explains the lunacy of the left and how the PC culture has become so out of control over the years.
He breaks down the chapters into the different areas that the left tend to scream about; racism, cultural appropriation, anti-white racism, gender identity, the gay agenda, incest, transgenderism, transracialism, trans species, feminism and sexism, and the breakdown of the family.
That last chapter is what really sucked me in. The breakdown of the family. “The root cause of most of the craziness we are witnessing in society today is the breakdown of the family. Ever since the divorce laws were changed in the 1960s we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of broken homes in America. With so many children being raised by single parents, the harsh truth that few people want to admit is these kids don’t have the proper supervision, guidance, or role models to help them grow up to be well-adjusted adults.” ( Liberalism: Find a Cure. Dice, Mark. 301)
He makes a lot of sense in the argument that no matter how great a mother is, she’s not a father. Not having that fatherly influence in the lives of children is detrimental to their upbringing. The same can be said with a child who does not grow up with their mother.
Mark also points out the destruction of the nuclear family. Mother. Father. Child (ren). The left is out to destroy that nuclear family that creates well rounded, functioning adults.
Final thoughts? By his stuff! Seriously. If you only buy one of his books, get Liberalism Find a Cure. It’s not one of his newest, published in 2018, it’s a great read. It’s eye opening to a lot of things you may already know and brings to light a lot of things you may not know. He dives into these subjects and explains why they don’t work and what needs to be fixed.
5 Stars from Offensively Patriotic. Have you read it? What’re your thoughts? Let us know int he comments or community.
