Brett Favre was once one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL. He won one Super Bowl with the Green Bay packers and won three consecutive AP MVP awards. However, it should be noted that he also leads the all-time list in interceptions. This is important to note because it could be said that decision making might not be his most favorable attribute.

This leads us into the his decision to give Colin Kaepernick “hero status” and even compared him to fallen soldier and true American hero, Pat Tillman. Check out his own words for yourself in the following video from TMZ Sports if you don’t believe it.

Ignoring any issues everyone may have with his political shenanigans he has brought to the football field, there isn’t much Kaepernick is known for. He wasn’t a good player and he often sat in the 2nd or 3rd quarterback spot on teams. This was well before any of his political affiliates or activism came to light.

Why should someone who isn’t a good player and wasn’t sat for anything other than bad play, be given another chance? The amount of negativity he’ll being to your team is bad enough, but what skill or advantage does he bring to your team?

Do you think he’ll end up benched again? If so, will this only make things worse?

What about Kaepernick being compared to Pat Tillman and assuming Kaepernick will be given “hero status?”
