“We’ve seen the worst that human beings are capable of. We’ve seen what happens when leaders abandon common decency in favor of rage and hate. Through the lens of history, the Holocaust happened yesterday, the civil rights movement was this morning, so we are not as out of the woods as we might have thought.”

You’ve Got That Holocaust Calming Feeling
On Friday, Yahoo News podcast, Skullduggery, hosted Democrat representative Rashida Tlaib. She made a comment that seems to be causing quite the stir and for a rightful reason. During the podcast, Tlaib said this:
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports.Â
And, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

Rashida Tlaib’s Back Peddle
Of course, she’s back peddling and crying foul on everyone who has come out against her. She has taken to Twitter to decry those who have more or less said having a calming feeling about the murder of 6 million people isn’t good.
She’s mad that people are “policing” her words. What is there to police when you say that the near extermination of an entire people is calming? Yes, Tlaib, the truth will always win. The only ones who are pushing a racist and hateful agenda is you. You are the one who is hateful. You are the one who is racist. You are the one who finds such calm in the death of SIX MILLION people.
It’s baffling to me that so many people continue to elect these hateful people into our government. Between her, Ilhan Omar, AOC, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Hillary Clinton, Robert Francis O’Rourke, Brian Sims, Joe Biden, and Pete Buttigieg to name a few. They are people who are so filled with hate.
Yet, they keep getting elected.
Our country will not get better until we start electing quality people into our government. We will not be better until we start electing people into our government who love America and Americans. We cannot save the world. We cannot police the world, but we can police ourselves.
