Oprah Lectures White People About Their Privilege

Oprah Winfrey has taken to her AppleTV+ series, “The Oprah Conversation, to lecture poor white people on their privilege.

The billionaire media tycoon has decided that she would admonish poor white people about their advances in life that she doesn’t have.

As Oprah and her other privileged black guests talked about the privileges of white people, one of her other guests stepped up.

They said, “Not all white people have power. There’s plenty of poor, working-class white people. But I think that when we group all of white people together and we don’t recognize the fact that there’s a lot of white people that struggle, and it’s a different struggle as you mentioned because they’re not streaming upstream let’s call it . . .”

They continued, “I think that if we’re gonna come together and really attack racism and the inequities that are in this country and are in this world, that it’s important not to group all white people.”

Winfrey, not to have any white folks seem innocent in anyone’s eyes retorted, “There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people — the caste system that’s been put in place. But they still, no matter where they are on the rung or ladder of success, they still have their whiteness.”

Ted Cruz called her out on the BS that all white people have more advantages than she does.

During the conversation Oprah also said “[Whites have a] leg up. You still have your whiteness. That’s what the term ‘white privilege’ is. It means that whiteness still gives you an advantage, no matter. It is the fundamental issue.”

Remember this is coming from a billionaire who owns an entire media company. This is a woman who is part of that elite that she hates so much. She is lecturing those of us who still have nothing or have worked our way up from nothing that we are privileged.

Oprah seems to be decrying racism, but she herself is actually racist.

Oprah’s net worth is $2.6 billion.

I would like to see Oprah bring on lower class and homeless white people to her show. I want her to sit there in her designer and expensive clothes, in her studio, on her own talk show and I want her to tell these poor and homeless people that they are more privileged than she is. I want her to go to the streets and find homeless veterans and let them know they are actually more privileged than she is.

Oprah is a fraud. The woman who became obscenely wealthy from the white homemakers who were home during the day to watch her show, are the same people she thinks are more privileged than she is.

Shame on Oprah.

For a person who is sitting on a $2.6 billion dollar empire, it’s very hypocritical it sit in her glass house calling out the privilege of others.
