Woman'S Thoughts On Guns

A Woman’s Thoughts

These are a woman’s thoughts. A firearm owner’s thoughts. These are my thoughts on firearms.

I’m a woman who works late at night and deals with people who are literally crazy. I’ve been threatened on more than one occasion. Some of those threats have been very graphic.

Let me tell you about one of them.

A mental health patient was discharged and decided to rage at me. He went into great detail about how he would “beat my ass” and “curb stomp my whiteness” if he ever saw me on the streets. The security in the building I work is a joke. The person “in charge” that day was an overweight woman who hates her job. She stood there while this man stood across an open desk from me threatening to kill me. She laughed about it and said she’d love to take him out for drinks.

I’m a woman who has young children at home. My husband is not always with me and we tend to work more opposite of each other. I’m left vulnerable when he’s not there.

I’m a woman who doesn’t know much self defense, as far as hand to hand combat is concerned, and I’m not very tall at barely 5’4″. I would not fair well against most intruders if I did not have my weapon.

I’m a woman who believes that all women have the right and the necessity to defend themselves. We should not have a criminal who ran for president (Robert FRANCIS O’Rourke) or any other politician say I cannot own an AR-15 or an AR-15 “style” weapon. I should not have to rely on the 15 minute response time of the police to save me.

I would be dead by then.

I should have the right and ability to defend myself when someone is breaking into my home with the intent to burglarize my home and possibly murder me and/or my family.

I should not have to worry about the feelings of a criminal’s family who didn’t have the right mind to raise their child to not harm others. I do not owe you anything in my home. I do not owe you a damn thing. I do not owe you my life. What is in my home is mine and my families. It is not yours.

I am a woman who will defend my home. I am a woman who will protect my life and the lives of my family.

I am a woman who will have your back if we are under attack and I am a woman who carries.

I am a woman and I am a firearm owner. I also have been trained by a Marine on how to properly use, clean and carry them.

I will not comply with the illegal gun seizure that the Democrats preach about.

I will not comply.

The Second Amendment

As an American citizen, we are granted the second amendment right. No law or man can overturn our God given right (or right we are born with for you non-religious folk) to protect ourselves. No government can confiscate our weapons.

Shall not be infringed. That’s what the United States Constitution specifically states in the second amendment.

Article I, section 21 of the Pennsylvania State Constitution states: “The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.” (I’m a PA resident.)

But those are just my thoughts. A woman’s thoughts.
