Abortion Ban HB-481 and the Left’s Response
Last week Georgia Governor, Brian Kemp, signed a rather controversial bill into law. It will be enacted come 2020. What is this bill? It’s the HB-481 Bill, the heartbeat ban (abortion ban up to a certain point). This particular law will not only ban abortion when the baby has a detectable human heartbeat, but it will also declare the scientific and philosophical truth that an unborn child is a natural person under state law.
This law has sent the leftists into an absolute tizzy. They are foaming at the mouth that Georgia wants to protect its children.
AOC came out with her utter stupidity, of course.
6 weeks pregnant is 2 weeks late on your period? What? What the hell is she saying? No, 6 weeks pregnant is 6 weeks pregnant. That’s not your period being late. You’re pregnant with a child. Another human life.
I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks. My period was one week late. So, I took 10 tests and they were all positive. I didn’t consider myself late anymore. I was pregnant. I had a human life growing inside me. I would find out a few weeks later it was two lives growing inside me. Two lives that have made not just mine, but my husbands lives all the much better.
AOC can’t be outdone though. Another annoying feminist who can’t seem to sit down and shut up is Alyssa Milano. A washed up actress who seems to think herself rather self-important keeps spewing more ridiculousness everyday. This time she’s calling for a sex strike.
The Stages of Development
Why are so many people, men and women, pro-life? Let me explain. Those of us who actually paid attention in science class understand the stages of fetal development. We realize that a baby isn’t just a clump of cells that can’t feel pain before they come from the womb. The birth canal is not a magical passageway that gives the baby feelings.
So lets look at this logically. She’s urging women to not have sex. She’s a leftist liberal feminist. Who is going to listen to her logic? Other leftist liberal feminists. When these women do have sex, it’s with other leftist liberals. The only ones who are going to be hurting are the liberals. They abstaining from sex. They are literally doing what Republicans and the right have been preaching for decades. Because, you see, if you don’t have sex. You can’t get pregnant.
During the first four weeks of development the heart and lungs begin to develop, and the arms, legs, brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
Between the fourth and eighth weeks of development, the neural tube (the brain, spinal cord and other neural tissue of the central nervous system) is well-formed. While there is no single pain center in our bodies, the nervous system controls how we process and feel pain. This system is well-formed by this time. Our nervous system consists of two parts, the central nervous system, which is the brain and spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system, which are the nerves and nerve pathways throughout the body.
Whenever our body is damaged by disease or injury, or in the case of an abortion the ripping apart of the child’s body, the tissues in the affected area release chemicals that communicate with nerves. Nerve pathways then carry that message from the area to the spinal cord and up to the brain (which is also well-formed by this point in development). The pain information is then recognized.
This means, a child in the fourth to eighth week of development can feel pain.
So many people want to justify their abortions as their body, their choice but what they fail to look at is the fact they are doing this to another living beings body. They claim that the men have absolutely no say in the matter. What if the father wants the child? What if the father wants custody of the child? A child is not 100% of the mother. A child is 50%/50%. It takes two people to create a child. Why doesn’t the father get a say?
